IC/OOC - Salazar Industry Holiday Gala
WHO: 21+ Dunhaven Residents & Salazar Industry employees and investors.
WHEN: December 14, 7pm - Midnight
WHERE: Hyland's Vineyard and Winery
SUMMARY: Holiday Charity Gala and Silent Auction!
STATUS: IC/OOC
Tonight is the Salazar Industry Holiday Charity Gala in Dunhaven, VA. It's a lavish affair, with not just Dunhaven residents, but investors from all over the world. There is free valet, everyone is dressed to the nines and a great deal of security is posted at each entry and exit. Food and wine is free-flowing, and there's an open-bar for other drink options if wine isn't your thing. The event is beautifully laid out (thanks to Enchanted Events), each area of it set up with Salazar tech highlighting every single non-profit that's the focus of tonight's event. The front stage is the early focal point, Angelina Philips taking the stage a little after 7, to thank everyone for attending and making a few early announcements before passing the stage off to a representative for each non-profit. Water Aid, charity: water, Water is Life and Thirst Project are all companies that SI has worked with previously, everything from helping combat the Flint Water Crisis to making water purification tech affordable and available everywhere. Each organization will talk about their impact and their focus, and share stories of how donations have helped them. Following the non-profit focus, Elias Salazar will step onto the stage and give a speech and presentation on Salazar Industry's future projects and focuses. After that, the stage will be turned over to a very good live band alternating with a string & piano rock group. Dancing and socializing most welcome. The Silent Auction is setup in it's own room, a representation of each item/event in it's own place, with tablets set up at each item for bids. It's a very Salazar and high-tech experience, notification going directly to your phone if you're out-bid, a top bid setting, etc. Auctions are open from 7-10pm, shortly after, winners of each will be announced/contacted. Direct donations to the organization of your choice are also welcome. There will be a comment thread for auction stuff! A spreadsheet will be linked there. Feel free to comment below for your characters that attended! |
