I've just [...] been thinking about it for a few weeks. Since the second time the AC went out, actually. What if [...] we were more in control over whether things work where we live, or not? Like what happens in December when we have enough snow to make going anywhere impossible and all of the heat goes out? We're at the mercy of this management team that clearly doesn't care too much about getting things fixed.
And even though I'm laying out all of the practical reasons why it could be a good idea, there's also the fact that, the more I think about it, the more I love the idea of our home. Our house. And the more I realize that I'm not afraid of the idea of it, at all.
