ZEKE | ISAIAH
I'm not sure I could pinpoint exactly when I knew for sure, but it was complicated by the fact that, at the time, she was supposed to be temporary in my life. She told me numerous times that she was leaving. But each time I imagined Dunhaven without her, it felt empty, and when I suddenly saw that a future with her was possible, I knew I wanted nothing else. So I think I fell a little more in love with her every time we spoke, but I couldn't let myself feel the gravity of it until leaving was no longer part of the equation. But even before she got pregnant and made the choice to stay here with me and Adelaide, I knew losing her, even if we stayed in touch, was going to really fucking hurt.
