I haven't really seen or even talked to him since we got back from vacation, so I don't think so? It was weird that I hadn't heard from him, but I was just assuming that it was because classes are starting up this week and maybe he's preoccupied with all that. But maybe there's something else. [...] Or maybe it was an accident.

I probably should just talk to him. This is as bad as when I think one of my actual siblings might be upset with me.

You know, I don't ask for much. I may have tried to follow in your footsteps, and wanted to be just like you, but I busted my ass to earn the same degrees you did and I worked for my spot at MIT the same as you did. And I have a line, you know. I never asked for anything from you other than more opportunity to work hard for your company. So I guess it would have been nice to at least get a Well Done. I didn't need the credit, it was always an honor just to work here, but you could have at least acknowledged my work before you put your own name on it. Sir.
