It's kind of weird to think that in nine months, undergrad will be done and over with. I'll have to figure out how to adult before then.

My moms are pretty great overall and I know I'm lucky to have them, but it's kind of a whole thing being 21 and having minimal privacy. Poppy is bad at knocking and Mom makes me leave the door open when Cash is here, which she never used to do so it's weird that it's a thing now. It could be much worse, though.

It isn't, so I won't complain too much. Please note that while I won't be pushy, it didn't escape my attention that you deflected.

That makes sense! My mom and I kind of had an inconvenient relationship growing up just because she wasn't terribly much older than me and it was just us for most of my childhood, so I'm just super used to the lack of privacy both from her and toward her. It explains so much about my personality, tbh 😂

I'm better when I just distract myself from thinking too much about things. It's not for lack of wanting to tell you how I really am, it's just [...] self-preservation, I guess.

	That's kind of wonderful, though. I feel like that more with my sister, I guess. Denver could come into my room whenever I wanted and I never cared, but I had just enough defiance in me to be annoyed when our moms did it. I get that.
