Exactly--and as Albus argues, there are older, wiser, better people for the job, but they don't quite step up to the plate. Sure, it's not entirely realistic to think of the Order or D.A. or vanquishers of the Dark Lord manned by teens and just-barely-not-teens, but I think it's a powerful metaphor. It tells young people that you shouldn't place all of your trust in the wise adults and let them take care of everything, because they might not. The result may be messier and more flawed, but at least action was taken. It's a good message, because the reality is we're lucky not to have to fight Voldemort, but it does make a strong case for the civic engagement of young people.
