Kurt sighed heavily, staring down at his non-fat mocha latte without whipped cream. He spun the stirring rod in the foamy white on top, his mind elsewhere. It was late, almost near closing time for the Lima Bean and he hoped Blaine got here before then. If he wasn't so distraught over other matters he'd have felt more guilty about sitting there so near closing and about knowing that Blaine was going to arrive and order something when all the poor workers wanted to do was go home. Another heavy sigh left his lips and he hunched his shoulders a little, proper posture one of the last things on his mind. Where was Blaine?

Blaine was seriously running late, he had Warblers practice and the meeting ran a little long. Then there was his mother always calling him to see what time he'd be home. But he had to tell her that he was meeting a friend for coffee and would be home later. Getting into his car after practice, he started to drive to the Lima Bean. He knew that they were almost closed, so he wasn't going to be getting coffee because he didn't need to be up all night. So when he got there, he went inside and found Kurt. "Sorry practice ran kind of late. How are you?"

Kurt looked up, his blue eyes sad as he took in his friend. Why was it that Blaine, whom he'd known for not very long at all in the grand scheme of things, was the first person he'd called? He wasn't sure, but he felt comfortable with Blaine and he felt like Blaine might understand. So those tears forming in his eyes? Those weren't his fault. He just couldn't keep them back any longer.

"I don't know what to do..." he choked out.

	Kurt let Blaine take one of his hands and used the other to wipe at his eyes. He laughed sadly, "Look at me, crying like a teenage girl... I just, I have to tell my dad and I don't know what he'll say. He's so... masculine and I'm not, and now..." He sniffled, looking down at their hands. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He gave him a warm and caring smile. "Its okay, I don't judge people when they get a little emotional about something. So what is it that you have to tell your dad?" 	Kurt sniffled more, trying to stop crying but failing. "How do you know that? I mean, I'd like to think my dad's above all that and that he'll still love me and accept me no matter what but you hear all of these horror stories about kids who come out and their parents hate them, disown them or god knows what..." 	"Well, that's because you've never met anyone like me before," Kurt said with a smile. He had turned his head to the side, peering up at him but his head was still rested on their hands, his cheek touching Blaine's knuckles and fingers.
