hello everyone! i'm bringing in this lovely, who's only connection, so far, is being ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) irisb's ex-girlfriend with whom she's recently reconnected with. she has lived in dublin her entire life save the time she spent in london for uni and the last year or so she's spent in the states promoting her latest novel. she's absolutely the suffering writer type, though she hasn't quite quit her day job of helping her mother out around the family floral shop and nursery. she fancies herself a bit of a horticulturist. beyond all that, she's the type to be very straight-forward and lack a bit of tact when she speaks. she doesn't really believe in catering to people's feelings unless absolutely necessary. she's also the type to live very much in the present without much of a plan and is complete denial of being closer to thirty than twenty.
she could use anything! men of all ages who have dated her hippiesque mother however briefly, former flings and exes of either gender, other writers, anyone who would have a need of flowers, a best mate, members of her book club in which they do more drinking than reading and anything and everything your heart desires.

Well since I've app'd this bugger, I thought I would go ahead and get some lines.
This is Old Man Murphy, better known as Seamus. He quietly runs the seedier side of things in Dublin, prostitutes, black market guns and car parts, as well as drugs (though he isn't fond of that). For his day job he runs Murphy Mechanics, an auto shop. He has 5 children, Elizabeth, Rose, Nigel, Caerra and Brodie, and has been happily married to Kenna for near thirty years now. Rose, Nigel, and Brodie are already app'd, the others are coming. He needs some buddies, he's open to pretty much everyone. He's a friendly sod and loves to talk. Hit me with your best shot, Dublin.

Well, hello! This is Nigel and he's the only son of the Murphy Family. He's one of two and is protective over his twin as well as the rest of his family. He is a mechanic at his father's shop and he is mixed in with the "family business" a bit too, although he keeps that part in the dark. He's a nice guy although very reserved and rough around the edges. Kind of like if you took Cry-Baby and made him Irish.
I'm in the process of putting together his bio now but I would love to work out storylines. He doesn't have much so far aside family lines. He has a connection with ~irisb but I am awesome and lost the pbads post so I haven't been able to comment back yet. >.> Sorry about that! But we should totally work something out. And I want to work something out with everyone! He could use anything!

Okay now that I've got her all done and apped, I figured I'd throw a plea for lines! Meet Brodie Murphy. She is the baby girl of the Murphy clan. She's 23 and is finishing up college with a degree in something I have yet to decide. She's a ballet dancer and is in the middle of deciding if she wants to tour after college or stay local with her family.
She is fully aware of the "family" business but chooses to stay out of it as much as possible. She's very loyal and protective of her family and is one of those "I think I'm bigger than I am" people. When it comes to romance, she's kind of a skeptic. Her boyfriend in secondary school was an emotional abuser of sorts and she's got a thick wall built up around her since then. She's not opposed to meeting someone but it's going to take a very special kind of someone.
Other than that I can use friends, co-workers, friendly faces. Pretty much anything and everything you can throw at me.

This is Ashleigh, she's 32 and a nurse. She's not too good at meeting new people, she is amazing at her job and loves being a caretaker but she is horrible at making and keeping friends. She's had a shitty past and all of that info can be found here. She grew up in Dublin so childhood friends or things like that would be great. She is a widow, her husband died while saving a fellow firefighter in a fire. Her mom died when she was 15, and ever since then she has been a bit messed up in the head, then her husband died and she really lost it. So throw whatcha got at me! I have a potential romantic line coming in so anything but that is needed!

This is Langston! I would LOVE some lines for him. He was born in Dublin and lived here until he was 14 and his mother moved them to the US. He lived in North Carolina most of his life and after he graduated he moved to New York for college, he quickly became a pro hockey player for the NY Rangers, after an "accident" he had to retire and moved back to North Carolina to take care of his mother who was dying. A few months ago she passed and he and his girlfriend moved back to Dublin and he is currently reconnecting with friends, family and all that the left behind when he was 14. I'd love anything for him other than romantic lines because he has that coming already!

She's super friendly, a little naive, loves to travel and at the end of the day she genuinely believes in the good in people. Yes even with her line of work she finds that she has too to survive in a way. Also she's a huge animal lover and has two cats she adopted from a homeless shelter.

Hey everyone. Seriously considering bringing this Orlando Bloom PB in here but wanted to see if was wanted for anything. I am changing a lot of his backstory, so I can open him up for just about anything. A few things though - he is still very much a veteran musician, now writing songs for people rather than being in the limelight. He is a recovering drug addict, but still can drink like a fish. He is pansexual, so he will have exes of both genders. I am saying he is from England and moved into Dublin, but has been here for something like 10 years. So let's see what we can make of this. William has an unhealthy relationship with food, as he loves to cook. He loves Mario and insists on being Yoshi for every game he plays. He's charismatic enough where I think he can have some seriously great friendships, but he can be moody. I am all right with organic things, but I am also great for filling SLs. I hope to get him applied on Monday and look forward to writing with you!

Hello peeps! I’m Jane and I come with the intention to bring forth this Ashley Graham PB. She’s a German import (though spent the past X-amount of years somewhere in England getting her career started). She’s a 27-year-old single woman that works as an Editor. She was an orphan who practically raised herself, but she’s not bitter over it. She’s a survivor who made something of her life. Clearly she’s not completely blank, but definitely still in a flexible spot as I am still deciding how long she’s been in Dublin (let alone at her previous residence).
Normally I do actually like to build organically, but I thought it couldn’t hurt to put the feelers out there in case any of you were looking for something specific.
I strongly prefer threading for scenes; though will do IC interactions via AIM. My availability varies depending on my work schedule and life events. But I do get on pretty daily. XD

So. This is Nate Berch, an artistic director of a dance studio he owns with an old friend/business partner. He is originally from Northern Ireland, but has lived in New York (having attended Juilliard) and Austria (attending the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) before he ended up in Dublin roughly ten or so years ago. I'd love to have connections with everyone--he is a outgoing, friendly guy, even if he can have the male equivalent of 'resting bitch face'. So...have at me!
