There was no way Rydia was going all the way back to Balamb Garden tonight, not when Rinoa had a hotel room that was literally right around the corner. They could pretend like it was some silly teenage sleepover if they wanted to, but in reality, she figured they would both be too tired from actual partying to stay up and gossip about boys over popcorn and movies. Not like Rinoa had anything to gossip about, anyway. She'd seen Squall, they hadn't killed each other, things were awkward, the end. Pretty simple to sum all of that up.
"Glad to know you're on my side!" Rinoa made a face at Rydia, knowing her friend did have her best intentions at heart. Perhaps it would do her some good to let loose, even if it was only for one night, but she didn't want to go too overboard. Letting Rydia handle her clothes and her makeup was a good enough start.
"Blue is my favorite color..." Her voice trailed off as she saw the dress Rydia offered. "Now that, that is perfect!" It was low cut enough to give a hint of what might be underneath but nothing too crazy, the skirt was the right length for dancing. In short, it was perfect. Rinoa made a little squeeing noise under her breath as she took the dress from Rydia, bouncing over to where Rydia kept all of her jewelry. "You always have the best eye for this, I swear."
