Who: Seifer Almasy and Hynia Kadowaki
What: X-Rays and Updates
Where: the Infirmary
When: Friday Afternoon
Warnings: The fabulousness that is Kadowaki, and the mouth that's Seifer Almasy.
Seifer wouldn't want to admit it, but he'd been overdoing it a bit lately. Between classes and after-school/late night treks into the Training Center with enabling staff members, Seifer was surprised his arm hadn't fallen off. Part of him wondered if the increase in use had more to do with Edea coming back, or his increasingly agitating interactions with Dincht. Even now the ache was present, and he hadn't done much more that prostrate with Hyperion since Wednesday. The painkillers worked, for the most part, but that didn't stop him from waking up in the middle of the night to take more. He was starting to cherish the moments when he didn't have to lug his gunblade around, as much as he loved the weapon. Not nearly so much as the days when the weather was cooler, when wearing a long-sleeved shirt didn't look too suspicious, and he could wrap the arm to give it a little extra support.
This was one of those days, though if he'd been thinking about it he would have changed prior to heading to see Kadowaki. She'd need to get at that arm. He thought of it when he was almost to her door, but decided that if he needed to pull of layers she was hardly going to care. It was nothing she hadn't seen before a million times over.
Stepping into the infirmary, his eyes made a quick pass to make sure no one else was within. Not that he could do much if there was, he simply preferred being as discreet on the subject of his arm as possible. Some had asked about the scar, and he'd humored them with vague answers at best, and more often hints to mind their own business. Kadowaki knew more about the situation than anyone in Garden, aside from Fujin, and he still wasn't quite sure if he regretted sharing so much of that information even with her. She wouldn't tell, that much he knew, or hoped. It was as much as she promised, at any rate. Who knew, maybe the information would be somehow relevant to him getting better.
