WHO: Hynia Kadowaki + Lotus Venox
WHAT: Talking behind Sage Venox's back, lol.
WHERE: Balamb Hotel Cafe
WHEN: Backdated to the afternoon of Friday, July 03.
WARNINGS: N/A
Ideally, Kadowaki would not be out of the house for too long until the next Monday which was when she insisted she'd be back behind her desk in the main clinic but the surprise appearance of a Lotus Venox had her badgering her family to stand down and let her through the door. Small consolation that she wouldn't be headed all the way to the Garden just to meet with the woman but everyone seemed determined not to leave her on her own for too long.
"Call me when you're done, I'll come fetch you," was her husband's last instruction before she slammed the door on him and stepped into the hotel. The place was practically just 10 minutes away from hers and Kadowaki often walked there herself if she fancied some 5-star breakfast for the family or simply if she was too lazy to be in the kitchen all morning. And since it was a nice day out, there was absolutely no reason to have to take the car except for the fact that she'd hit her head somewhere between getting attacked and getting cocooned.
A hotel staff welcomed her with a smile and guided her to the cafe. She had a table by the sea reserved just in case and being early for half an hour (something she didn't tell her husband but it was good to be out of the house for an extender period of time), spent her time reading through her e-mails and deciding which to get for herself. Later on, she thought she'd take something home for the kids, too.
This was the position in which she would be found, bag hanging by a handy hook on one side, her menu on the tabletop across of her and her tablet out in the open. Under her seat, her legs were crossed although she knew better than to put on her heels on the off chance that she needed to run, And anyway, her daughter wouldn't let her put them on. Sometimes, their love for her could use a little toning down.
Then again, it was a little unnatural for the doctor to be turned to a patient.
