Re: Rinoa and OPEN - 10:45ish
He still remembered those times. Rinoa balanced him out and he liked to think he did the same for her. But those were memories now. Squall went back to his room alone and woke up in the morning alone. But in his mind, it was all for the right reasons. He couldn't pull her down with him to drown. I couldn't let her be an afterthought or a target due to work. It... wasn't fair. She deserved better... deserves, rather.
Squall snorted lightly at her retort to calling her a lightweight, throwing up his free hand in surrender. He knew better than to argue with her, because Rinoa always won. But when she reminisced over the details of a particular night, Squall tried to recall them as well. "Yes, it was Irvine and you did seven of them, if I recall correctly." Yeah... that was a fun morning. "And... you're welcome." It was the least he could do. Squall sipped on his new drink, reminding himself not to get seven shots worth alcohol levels of drunk. As much as he wanted to, he needed to think with a majority of his brain before slipping into some abyss. But what the fuck else do I talk about with her? Are we just going to stand here and be nostalgic or some crap? I can't do this all night....
