"No, you're not." she answered him with another nudge of her beer hand. "Take what this gives you, the good bits. Safe. Doing good things for kids. Kids that matter to you. Didn't do anything wrong." She nodded, frowned thoughtfully. That's how you survived. You took what you could from the situation, the good stuff and you dealt with the bad as best you could. "Good stuff." There was that, there was the good stuff. He had to see that. No matter what happened with the saviours of humanity and the orphanage, even with her and Rai, he had that, he had something he was doing that was useful and good.
She leaned forward and bonked her head into his. Hugging him here, it would be too obvious, too out of place, slamming her forehead into his skull, that seemed much more normal, at least for them. Then she grinned and shrugged. "Don't know. Can. Can stay here, indefinitely. Work here. Can go, travel, study, magic. research." Whichever Seifer wanted to do, her job would allow. "Stay put, now, til Raijin." She needed to find her friend though, her missing limb. "Plans?"
