Seifer's eyes widened a little at that thought, and he nodded, imagining Raijin clones rather than Raijin babies. "Yeah, that's probably true. Their poor ma." He went to take another drink but turned his head quickly to watch her, frowning. "That's such fucking bullshit." Even his own probation hadn't prevented anything like that, thankfully. If it had he probably wouldn't have agreed to it.
It was better now, he told himself. She wasn't in trouble anymore.
He finally did take his drink, finishing off the glass and moving to refill. In his mind he wondered if he should bother having more after that, but hell, it was a party and he had good company.
"It's not that bad here, Fu." He didn't know why he'd felt the need to say it, but the words dropped out of his mouth before he could really help it. He made sure his voice stayed low so no one else would hear. "They're.......shit," his hand moved to rub lightly at his forehead, as if admitting it was difficult "They aren't that bad."
