... and already worrying about these two dying without my ever seeing them. 'S what you get from not having kids of your own, I suppose. Your maternal instincts lie dormant until whoosh! they find a suitable target. Sometimes it's a kitten, and sometimes it's a dragon egg. Who knew.

The spring egg has hatched and, although it still needs wings, I have already frozen the hatchling. My daughter's geode hatched too and I am waiting for it to gender; as before, it will be up for adoption if it is a female. I have bred another geode just in case anyway ;). I also have a male pink hatchling and I picked a grey egg from the AP page. I hope this one is a female, although with my luck...
