(Ahem.)

Just wanted to warn everybody that some of our prompts and banners might be unintentional triggers. If so, we're sorry. We know there's some serious shit going down in the world right now, and we don't take that lightly. Although our prompts are inspired by real-life events, our banners aren't meant to imply any connection to the real-world pandemic. It's just that our way of dealing with everything is to write it out. When life gives you lemons, whip up a lemon drop cocktail, amirite?

“You’re overreacting, Seth.”

The doctor huffed dismissively, checking and noting Jessica’s vitals. “I want a comprehensive observation and a full spectrum of tests.”

Jessica had swoop of dread in her stomach as she accepted the pot, “What now? I don’t think there’s a part of me not already in the laboratory.”

Doc Hazlitt blustered, “Do I need to show you the report from the epidemiologist again?”

“It’s just not rational.”

“It’s sound scientific theory! There is a statistically significant increase in the death rate around you, Jessica. We have to consider every cause.”

“Oh really!” She puffed, “Murder isn’t infectious.”
