The Quinjet is on cruise mode, and Fitz is debriefing in the lab, alone. Again.

Their little community feels fractured.

Or no, that´s not it, and for once his aphasia isn´t to blame, he thinks.

If only Jemma were here. The real one, not the one he imagines standing next to him, helping him find his words in his mind.

He picked the wrong picture. It´s not fractured, but he´s on the outside. Well contained in the lab where he can do no harm. Where they can let him play.

What´s fractured is his brain and they all know it.
