Stepping into the office, Daniela glanced around briefly but didn't pay much attention to the details around her. As far as she was concerned, she just wanted this to be over and done with. What she was about to talk about upset her, so she took a deep breath, willing herself to not show any emotion on her face concerning it. "I'm not sure if news has reached you yet, but there's been a death in Nocturn." Pausing for a moment, Daniela looked at Josalynn's face before looking down at her own clasped hands, and then back up at the Deputy Marshall's face again. "I'll spare you the details personally, though I have brought a file with me explaining in depth what was found so that you can read over what we know. Yesterday the body of a pack member of mine was found in the city. This isn't the first, though the circumstances of this death appear to be more suspicious. It's not clear exactly what happened, but it does seem that there was some contact with silver and whether that's accidental or not, we don't know. However, the other bodily damage done is suspect, and seems more likely than not that it was intentionally done by a second party that's yet to be identified."
Daniela stopped talking for several seconds, but began again before Josalynn could speak. It seemed easier for her to say it all at once, so that she wouldn't have time to dwell on the body that she'd been shown. Burns had covered the naked woman, mostly on her lower half. Fire, or silver, Daniela was more inclined to think the latter. The woman's face had been unrecognizable from what appeared to be blunt trauma and there were several open wounds along her chest that seemed likely to have been from some sort of blade. It was brutal, however it had come to happen, and Daniela had no solid leads as to who may have done it.
"We were curious to know whether any similar deaths had occurred in Silver City, or any other cities that your Order frequents. Whether human deaths or otherwise, it could help further our investigation. We would greatly appreciate any assistance you can give us." Daniela stopped there, reaching into a slightly oversize bag she had been carrying and producing a plain folder. Holding it out to Josalynn, Daniela gave a tight smile. "This contains the detail, and we hope that you'll try to help in any way that you can." Whether they were the right words to use, Daniela didn't know, but she hoped she'd managed to speak in a way that wasn't offensive. After all, she was the Beta and would look poorly on her pack if she had.
