Since July, Invidia had been different. There was something about her that had grown and changed ever since she'd had that long conversation with the Blackthorne boy. She couldn't bring herself to feel as if she needed to kill him. Instead, she felt as if she should possess him and keep him as her own divine little pet. She wanted to know every little detail that she could find about him and, for once, sought out information that had been in the papers during the time of his divorce and other problems. Unlike her normal routine, she didn't skip the side stories or the tabloids. She actually looked through them and tried to piece together who he was even though she knew so much of the information could be false. She wanted to feel as if she'd been there and knew how to handle him correctly. Of course, one conversation with pretty girl while you're drinking makes it hard for her to stand out in your memories. You need to see her again and again. You need to casually meet and interact in order to leave a lasting impression. Pandora had yet to run into the Blackthorne again simply because she'd been busy, but now seemed like a good time. She'd heard bits a pieces about the auditions going on in Theater Town. If the man was such a poet, perhaps he was also a playwright. She knew he owned some kind of theater troupe and so she decided that, perhaps, she would find one of the troupe's auditions and see if he happened to be there. It wasn't one of her better ideas, but it would work. Besides, she knew she was a good actress. She'd fooled him, hadn't she? She knew what she needed to do, but the entire process seemed to be a lot more difficult than she had originally thought. The entire process was strange to her and she seemed to get lost in the gaggle of women who were there for whatever part she'd picked up out of the pile of auditions she could have went to. Esmeralda was it? Some Sanguian musical that was based off one of the old legends, as far as she could tell. Pandora was in unknown territory as she tried to figure her way around everything. She just used the idea of the audition in order to get into the place. She didn't necessarily have to do it. If he was here, he'd have to show himself eventually and she would find a way to make sure she was noticed. She just hoped that didn't require her having to go on stage and perform to do so. |
