"Ah well, it was an accident... still working on it..." he looked around the room. He still wasn't sure what floor he was on to gauge his mistake, "I guess I didn't focus hard enough when trying to get back to my room. It's usually easy, but I dunno... I've only been practicing really hard for a few days now." The lighting was killing him. He really wanted to conserve energy, but this was starting to bother him. He fished a small flashlight out of his back pocket and turned it on. The stark contrast was hard to adjust to, but he left the beam focused low on the ground to not blind either he or Erin. "Heh, sorry. I like seeing people when I talk to them." The light illuminated Erin's snake half better Huh... boa of some kind... Juan wasn't completely sure on what kind it was, but found it interesting that he'd mutate to resemble a regular animal.
He shook his head, "A-anyway... you can look normal too? That's pretty neat, I guess." A pang of guilt washed over Juan as he was incredibly glad he didn't mutate like Pepper or Erin... he didn't think he could deal with something like that. "So... what floor are you on? I was trying to get to 701."
