"Right. Later." Reiko scoffed and frowned slightly. So much for that little sense of normalcy she'd developed among the chaos of the apocalypse. Now more than ever, she felt the sting of loneliness. Even with two other people around, it wasn't the same as having her best friend there. Together, she and Damon had done plenty of foolish things, like standing in the middle of the street, having casual conversation, not worrying whether they'd draw the attention of unseen monsters... It was better than allowing the apocalyptic hoopla to control every aspect of their existence, at least.
She wasn't quite sure if the urgency of these two would be tolerable for much longer, but she figured that it was worth seeing where they considered home or shelter or anything else of that sort before deciding to part ways with them. Maybe they knew someplace safe, or where there were other people. Her eyes trailed to the motorcycle she wanted to make use of then to the retreating man. Reluctantly, Reiko finally slipped her gun back into its holster, crossed her arms over her chest, and caught up with him. "I hate the both of you," she muttered in Japanese, more for the sake of getting the last laugh than being honest. She didn't know them well enough yet to really hate them; but her first impression wasn't exactly the best. Maybe she expected too much, or at the very least gave too little consideration for the 'I almost got eaten, and now I don't feel like being outside much longer' state of mind.
Oh, this had the potential to be an interesting trip. Or perhaps a mind-numbingly useless one... She wasn't quite sure, but already Formerly Suicidal had a small portion of her interest - enough to make her curious about the flexing and shaking of his limbs. He seemed more animated than his general demeanor (as she saw it) suggested he should be. And he reminded her of one important little detail that she'd all but forgotten after the monster: rain. That was a decent enough reason to forgo casualness and get the hell out of the area; she had very little (other than perhaps her gun) which wouldn't turn into useless goo in the rain.
Not bothering to attempt conversation any further, Reiko just walked, looking for potential shelters along the way. She wanted to have somewhere to go if she'd been incorrect in her assumption that one of the men already knew of someplace safe.
