Alex took in a deep, ragged breath and let it out slowly while the other two walked toward him. With the monster now possibly dead, that only left one other immediate problem. "Please don't get too close to me," he told the woman when she was within earshot and held out a hand to hopefully convey the fact that she was close enough. "Nothing against you personally, it's just that I can't...handle it." It was frustrating enough before this happened and he was afraid that it would only get worse.
"I don't know," Alex said in response to the man and looked back at the creature. It still hadn't moved and, as far as he could tell, it wasn't breathing, which he was sure these things still did since they weren't undead. He looked back over at the woman briefly before returning his gaze back to the man. "I think so but we should probably get out of here, the car alarm and gun shots will probably attract more. Questions can be answered once we get moving, yeah?"
