WHO: KJ and OPEN. WHERE: Fitness center. WHEN: Day 10, mid-afternoonish.
Having decided to forego her morning forray into the big, brave new world, hunting for things to add to her collection, KJ decided that she could instead explore the layout of her new home. Starting with the ground floor- she had only really visited the lobby and the kitchen, and while those were important she was sure they were no the only places there. Passing through the bar, she took note of all the alcohol on the shelves (to take pictures of later, she was not a drinker), and the layout of the room. But it didn't particularly hold KJ's interest, so she moved on, pausing when she came upon a gym.
A gym, huh? Huh.
She had never been one to go out of her way to join a gym and get into the socially acceptable norm of fitness, although she did keep herself in good shape. But the room held KJ's interest. Although she was lifting the rocks with her mind, she still felt the strain in her muscles, as if by the virtual act of guiding them with her hands she were in fact lifting them with her arms. KJ supposed she would actually have to work out more often, now, to be able to keep up with the strain and not hurt herself. But the equipment looked daunting, and she had no idea what to do with most of it. Sit and stare? For the moment, she opted to stand and stare, taking it all in. Where to start?
