Silver was standing at a strange angle in the elevator, not facing the door and yet not fully facing her. His chin was slightly down. There was something about the last six months that had him falling in to old habits. "A place outside of town. I'm going to come back in to somewhere with a real bed anytime now. I think it's a bad idea for me to come back to the garage. Your sister's situation and mine aren't a good combination. If anything happens about either, the other will get dragged in." That was about as close as he had come to talking about his past, and from his expression, it wasn't offered lightly.
The doors slid open, and he immediately stepped to the threshold and one side. He couldn't be too good at avoiding the cameras or he would arouse suspicion, and he wasn't actually hiding. Had to remember that. "Take care of yourself, Felicia. Okay?" He offered her a small smile, and he wished it could have been as calm as the ones when they had first met. A hand in farewell as she stepped out, and he disappeared into the crowd.
