Re: [Adult] VIP Area
He wanted the same, even if he didn't voice it often, and he murmured in agreement without realizing or caring that she was referring to the future in a way they usually tried to avoid, whether it was consciously or unconsciously done. "I want the same," he sighed. "I used to imagine what our lives would be like if they were normal, back when we were kids." His thumb brushed over her chin and just below her lower lip. "Houses and white-picket fences and children," he slurred, too drunk to remember to put together full sentences. "We could still have it, one day. You and me and Gus." In his drunken mind, that was all he needed, all he wanted, and to have it would be the closest to heaven he'd ever get.
The promise of a next time made him growl appreciatively into the kiss, enjoying the lazy warmth that didn't quite fit into their current surroundings. It was almost too intimate for a public place, though considering the fact that they'd just had sex against a ledge, any sense of propriety had long ceased to matter, and he couldn't bring himself to care anyway. "Okay," he agreed, arching into her touch. "You liked it. You liked it a lot. No guy here could compete with me," he added, voice thick with laughter. "And all the women, they wish they could be half of what you are." He tipped his head back for the kisses along his throat and smiled, reveling in the feel of her lips against heated skin.
Before he'd started drinking, the topic of Gus' custody had been something he'd considered discussing with her tonight, but now he shared her sentiments that they were too drunk for that, and besides, he hoped she knew that he wanted her to be as much a part of the little boy's life as he was. "Our son," he corrected, mindless of how he was slurring his words, "is with Roger. He called before, and he's fine." He mouthed along her jaw in response to the nip to his shoulder, and gently tugged on her earlobe with his teeth. "He doesn't mind staying, you know. Roger. There's rooms downstairs. We don't have to go home." The rest of the party no longer interested him. She was all he wanted, for as long as he could have her, before reality sank in again.
