Silver was generally more concerned with the subtle influence of alters than the overt. He disliked inroads on anyone's personality from either side, and he felt that the dividing line between himself and Tony needed to be impenetrable in order for them to work efficiently. Tony didn't have any desire to be Silver, so they agreed on this point. Silver's natural self-reflective personality meant he analyzed his own actions more than he did others', and it assisted this goal.
He was probably older than eighty percent of the people at this party, and probably the only one dead sober that wasn't working security. His back and shoulder hurt him, but he lingered still, looking away from Felicia's cheerful smile only once. His eyes darkened as the crowd clustered around the VIP area broke in to catcalls and ribald applause, but he didn't say anything. He returned his attention to her. "They're not looking for me any more," he affirmed. "I was wanted for questioning and technically, there now was no crime."
