The look was good, and by the movement of her pupils he figured she'd had more than two of those martinis. That was fine, and she looked like she was a in a good mood, safe and happy. Drunk, she wasn't as likely to notice the extra tension around his eyes or the set of his mouth. Silver knew his tells, and he hadn't gone to the trouble of controlling them ffor a while. He didn't want Felicia or Pepper to worry. He lightly touched her shoulder in greeting, a brush of casual affection, and then he moved to lean next to her (on an elbow on his good arm).
"Okay. Not great, but okay." Silver glanced to either side, displaying the movement for her. "Are you waiting for a friend?" The question was accompanied by a deeper smile, also exaggerated for her benefit.
