Re: Near the edge of the roof
Meredith tilted her head to the side as the girl snapped the other end of the handcuffs around her own wrist, effectively trapping them together. Plastic though they were, and breakable, it was still surprising to her alcohol-addled thoughts. "Uhm..." Meredith started, and then her thoughts fled at that rawr the girl let out, laughter bubbling up out of nowhere and spilling over, lasting at least until she was dragged towards the handsome gent in the blue suit, nearly tripping over her own feet and the awkward heels, some of her drink sloshing over and onto the rooftop.
"It's plastic," Meredith corrected him, not out of spite, but of simple fact, the most she could handle at that moment. Meeting the man's eyes, Meredith gave him a look that was as serious as she could manage right then, and as such, not very serious at all. "Of course I'm attached to my thumb," she said with a purse of her lips, tipping back the rest of her drink and leaning in towards him. "Plastic. They are plastic. We don't need a lightsaber to fix these." A pause. "Lightsabers aren't even real, you know."
