Re: By the Bar
The first martini went down easily, as did the second and third. Lizzy had suggested she find Mr Right Now and it was easy for the blonde to say considering she was moving in with her boyfriend. Ben was such a gentleman and it made perfect sense that he was paired with Thor. Pepper hadn't quite been able to block her freak out (I did not freak out) after the incident with the Thunder God and while the secretary didn't appreciate it, Felicia sure as hell did. The fourth drink was nursed a bit more slowly as she had a pleasant conversation about the bartender who was, coincidentally, saving up for parts to this old car that she didn't really understand most of but it seemed exactly up Hailey's alley. She was just writing the number for the garage down, another martini right at the ready, when Silver's familiar voice drifted through her.
Felicia turned and smiled up at him, recrossing her legs as she did so. "Getting there," she replied easily, giving him a once over. "You clean up nicely. How've you been?" It wasn't immediately obvious that he was still badly injured. In fact, Felicia was oblivious to most of it because Pepper wasn't one to share unless extreme emotions were involved. She sipped her martini and then set it back on the bar, her fingers curled around the stem of the glass as she focused on him.
