When he didn't turn, she tugged one more time, fingers digging a little more into his elbow as if to show him she wasn't messing around. But she gave up with a scoff a moment later. "Fine, be like that," she snapped quietly, crossing her arms as well. Her words dripped with venom, and he certainly pressed on the right buttons again.
"I don't have a problem," she said through clenched teeth. "You guys are all fucking delusional!" Her arms waved dramatically before she ran a shaky hand through her hair. "I have it completely under control. It's not like you've all found me in a gutter or whatever. I'm fine. More than fine."
