Bailey frowned, regretting even saying anything to him because it was clear she'd only aggravated him. "You don't have to be, Kolya," she replied gently. He had every right to not be okay. She wished she'd been there for him and she was trying to make up for it by not leaving his side. She'd skipped work for the past few days and even Harley had given her a break.
A half smile graced her lips, but she replied, "I don't give a fuck about Ezra's dick business. We can go back to the Wynn whenever you want, but not until you're feeling up to it, okay?" Bailey ran her hand down his arm then and tried to be as comforting as she knew how to be, even if it felt somewhat awkward.
"I'm so sorry," she whispered softly, after a few long minutes of silence.
