Re: Forum Shops
Well la dee fucking da. Not even Batman wanted to talk to her. The anger was back and it was harder to push away this time, mostly because she didn't feel like putting for the effort to do so. Why not be mad? Why not live a little. With the way Harley was perched on the fountain, it wasn't any trouble at all for her to get down. She flashed Batman a smile and fell back, letting herself fall for a brief moment before folding her body and landing gracefully on her feet on the rim of the fountain. She didn't pause, already jumping back up to swing off the fountain and flip forward into cartwheels and back handsprings until she was on the opposite side of the staircase from the man in question.
"You know what, Bats," she hissed, sliding smoothly off the bannister. What the hell? Why not? She was expendable. That's what he was trying to say wasn't he? Then why not give him exactly what he wanted? "Clearly, I'm not worth anyone's time so why don't you go deal with the real problem and leave me to my fountain and my peace." She moved forward, toward him, with every word and while her steps were sure, there wasn't any real threat behind them. She was just angry, and not just at him.
"They do what they want and they leave me to do what I want. It's not fun if there's no one here to stop me. There's no security systems, no guards, even the tourists wont challenge me." There was a hint of disgust there. She didn't see the guards, nor did she even particularly care about them, but they were still moving toward the pair.
