Iris had reached the point where Selina's taunts and the Bat's frankly pathetic "apology" barely made any sort of impact on her. She could have retaliated with a comment about Wren, something about Luke, but she held her dignity around herself like she had so often heard her mother do, and the look she washed over each of them was cool at best. She finally allowed her attention to rest on the Bat, as if she had neither the time nor inclination to address Selina and her attempts to rile her. "Leave," she demanded of him again, voice as low and dangerous as she was able to get, a hint of madness there that hardly anyone ever saw anymore. "And take that with you." Her chin jerked over to indicate Selina, as if she had to clarify, and then she was turning away, taking Gus by the hand and murmuring to him in a voice that had returned to the softwarm thing it normally was. She led the two of them back into his room where Finch was still waiting, and firmly closed the door behind them.
