He was impressed by the sudden show of claws, eyebrows raised as if she had just done a magic trick and he was about to break out into applause. There was no need for sharpness in this perfect city and most people didn't want anything to do with it. Eddie was starting to see the novelty in it. "See, that's where we're going to have to disagree." Eddie said with cheer and it was worth wondering what sort of ghost hunter he'd be. The kind who looked most spectrali in the face with interest instead of fear? Or the kind who pretended to be brave?
"I think ghosts and ghouls and deaths and mysteries make parties much more interesting. More fun." A smile from the docile and rich man. "I think I'll pretend to be a ghost, too. It'll make chit chat a lot more interesting if I start rattling chains half way through some longwinded discussion about stocks." He looked wistfully away from her. "Oh, the things I could get away with if I were a ghost."
