Re: first class - baths
Jack was the last person in the world anybody would ask about being with someone, boy or girl, and he wasn't sure what was right or wrong in that regard. Maybe he was good at advice on other things and sometimes he got lucky and what he said sounded smart, but truth be told he was no good when it came to girls. Not here, not there, though at least there he had experience and he knew more than he did on this stupid boat. "I don't think so," he said carefully. "I don't think there's a right way or a wrong way, is there?" He was never, ever shy, but he was feeling a lot like it just then, and he wished they would get back on the topic of hijacking ships and commandeering them wherever they damn well pleased.
"Good! I think maybe we should go this way," he began, seizing upon her agreement, but apparently she had other ideas because the next thing he knew she was tugging on his suit and pulling him down and bam, her lips were pressed against his. He let out a muffled sound of surprise, eyes gone wide, but after a few seconds something reached through his shock, something like instinct, and he stopped standing there like he'd turned to stone and kissed her back instead.
