There were some that might have called him selfish once upon a time, but that was a world ago, lost and forgotten, and he existed here and now, with a warm girl in his lap who had her legs wrapped around his waist. That little 'oh' that escaped her lips with a sudden breath made him smile against the column of her throat. A tip of the head, the silent request for more, and he was nothing other than obliging. Soft lips, a warm tongue, he peppered the side of her throat, jaw, down to the beginning of her shoulders with little open mouth kisses. He never lingered too long in any one spot, the simple act of giving and listening to her soft responses enough to make him want to stay here for hours doing nothing but this.

"You are beautiful," he whispered softly, and he had never thought anyone beautiful before, never had reason to do so. But it seemed the right thing to say just then, a soft little whisper as he moved up to capture her earlobe between his lips, giving it a little tug, a suckle, before releasing it once more.
