Her arms were folded in front of her, she was getting a bit more comfortable again. Trying to settle a raging and confused mind. She still wasn't sure if she was going to lash out or give up. Either one was a possibility at this point.
The elevator would not stop moving, she wondered if this was her punishment. Her reminder that there was such a thing as "too much too soon." She stood up a bit straighter steeling her feet on the floor and her shoulders stiffening as her neck stretched just a bit while her chin tilted toward the ceiling. "You didn't strike me as the type to be on the lookout for reassurance," she turned then and faced him, finding her courage once again. Or finding someone's courage. It couldn't have been hers.
