Leaving was the last thing he had on his mind. He wasn't prone to picking up strangers, cats or women alike. But with his leather clad fingers in her hair, gently working the tangles even as the wind added more, he didn't dwell too much on what he would have normally done. Besides, it hadn't served him well in the past.
"Come on down, Cat," he offered, giving the hair he held a gentle tug, playfully urging her down from her perch. His other hand came to rest on her thigh, ready to carry her down if she needed his help, though he doubted she needed anything from him. "Can't pet you proper if you're all the way up there."
