Re: Third class, away from the dining room
The fairy heard the word Jaeger and somewhere deep inside her it felt familiar, the word, as if she'd heard it before in passing and it stuck there. She could not see how since it was not from the land where her people lived. She wondered if it was the boat that made her feel off, or her mind being filled with this much confusion, in a tailspin. Her skin was tan but her eyes unusual light, and the wand only caused them to seem brighter.
But she was no innocent, since she gave him a sharp look when he looked at her cleavage, and followed it up a moment later with a wink. No offense taken. They were stuck on a boat that seemed to be falling apart with no way of knowing how they got there or how to leave. And the longer she stood there, the more she started to think it was not as terrible as she thought. The rocking was soothing, after she got used to it. She'd never chance flying in this, so why not get comfortable and see where it took her? She shook that line of thinking off for now, to focus on him instead.
"I can, yes. Maybe I can ...." She was no expert, but if magic was useful, she might as well use it. The fairy waved the glowing wand toward her foot, and it did nothing. So she opened the purse, more like a pouch now, and dropped dust on it. It was fluorescent colored, and sparkled as it fell down. Almost immediately she tested it out again. "Success!" Her smile was instant and bright. "I could do a dance. But I won't. Let's get out of here."
The question made her hesitate. "Blue," she said, sounding certain. But her head disagreed. That was not right. She was not the Blue Fairy, was she?
