Permission granted, she reached out to take the decanter of wine, a nod of thanks as he other hand twisted around the stem of the glass beside it, pulling both towards her to pour a healthy amount of the rich drink within. A swirl, a sniff, a moment of appreciation before she sipped, and then her attention was back upon him, the way he composed himself, a sharp dressed man with the look of the ages about him.
"I'm not entirely sure what I'm seeking, to be honest with you," she answered after a moment, tongue sweeping over her lips, taking away the wine but none of the cherry red that painted her skin. "Something. Everything. A little bit of nothing, perhaps." It was a good question, and one that she didn't really have a good answer for. "How are you different out there, or are questions like that not allowed in here?" She was bright-eyed and inquisitive, the girl with the painted lips and the pearls in her hair, someone who very much lived in the here and now, there and here.
