"Yes. There´s fighting for fun, but that is not it," he returned softly, his tone shifting a bit. He gazed earnestly over at the woman, receiving her sympathetic smile with a more gentle look of his own. A look that said that he understood what she was saying without having to speak herself. "Some might think so, and to each their own, I suppose, but that sort of fighting with weapons is not that which I enjoy. Neither is that party, really."
He shrugged, leaning casually against a post near the pool´s edge. "I see that you and I, we´re not fools." He glanced over at her again, wondering who this strange woman was who seemed to understand fighting enough to know that it was foolish to join in on the fight itself.
