Draco broke from the kiss and frowned. Birthdays were always treated as grand events in his house, and honestly, they had gotten a bit boring. He was showered with gifts, but it was a routine now, and the gifts were much like the years previous. What excited him about this year was that there was someone else in his life. It meant something more than just standard obligation. He could also be a bit too literal and serious. "Really?"

I still haven't told her that I actually have electricity." He held them up, a little upset, although he knew he shouldn't have been.
