Goku just crossed his arms and watched in practiced silence. He could meditate for days if he needed to, concentrating on his inner thoughts to calm his mind before a big fight. This was no different. The Saiyan warrior, for really that's what he was now, could feel the energy building around him. Granted, to a Saiyan like Vegeta, Jamie's energy was next to nothing. The Saiyan prince was still far too proud about things like that, still called himself the prince of all Saiyans despite the fact that other than Vegeta, there was really only himself, Gohan,, Goten and Trunks left who could call themselves Saiyans, as far as Goku knew.
He felt the moment that the energy rose to its fullest and moved carefully out of the way when Jamie successfully launched an energy blast in his direction. A grin fell onto Goku's expression naturally. "That's it!" he remarked with pure, child-like satisfaction on his features. "That's what I'm talking about. That energy, right there." He nodded proudly. "Not half bad, actually. Vegeta would probably say otherwise, but he can be a bit cranky about these things sometimes." He laughed softly.
"Now, then. Imagine that same feeling, that same energy, but under your feet. It's...well, kind of like you're floating on a cloud, really. That energy should hold you up, and that's how we fly." To demonstrate, Goku floated off the ground a few inches, making it look as natural as walking. To be fair, he'd been flying for about fifteen years or so. Driving on the other hand was not something that Goku could do easily.
