Who: Elinor Stewart and Fred Price When: Today, April 2nd, early afternoon sometime Where: The Law Firm What: Shenanigans when the boss is out of town? Status/Warnings: None yet!
While Elinor was usually nerdy, she tended to tone it down a bit while her boss was around. Granted, so far she'd noticed that Pete was fairly laid back and easy going, but she didn't want to seem too entirely weird around him. Not yet, any ways. She was still only an intern, after all. However, now that he was off on some business meeting trip, Elinor certainly didn't mind letting her geekiness shine through.
At her pathetic excuse for a desk (okay, so it wasn't that bad, but it was nothing like what her father had back home), Elinor kicked out her legs to relax. She was dressed in business smart clothing, nothing too formal but no one could accuse her of wearing casual clothing in the office, either. A nice pair of black slacks and a green blouse covered with a black long sleeve jacket. Her long brown hair was tied up neatly into a ponytail to keep it out of her face while she worked.
At her desk, one could see a good number of things scattered about. Various random notes, a half-drunk coffee cup, a few notebooks, a cup containing various shades of pens and pencils, and her prized possession, her computer. Along side these personal things were the stacks of paperwork she had to help process as the lowly intern at a law firm. She didn't get to do many cases, but she could help with the research for them as her internet skills were fairly savvy. Today she was doing research for a case that they were handling. Nothing too difficult, but it was certainly interesting. She jotted down notes after looking at her web page searches, carefully tucking her Lord of the Rings post-it notes into a drawer while she did this work. She'd been doing more research into Middle Earth ever since Samwise Gamgee had popped up into her head. She'd done even more after her venture to Middle Earth itself and had seen one of her childhood fantasies come to life.
But she couldn't afford to get too distracted today. Back to research. Her fingers clicked away monotonously against the keys, tapping out the information into the world wide web that she needed to hunt down. And hopefully, it wouldn't prove to be too difficult.
