Harry shook his head in wonderment, looking over at the selection of ingredients that Draco had chosen. He really had done his research. It was quite remarkable, Harry had to admit. Harry let his eyes meet Draco's, and when the other spoke, the former Gryffindor murmured softly, "It's okay. I haven't really been doing much myself."
He reached and shifted the blanket so that Draco could sit beneath it, surrendering part of his secure fort so that the other could get closer to him. "I think if Hermione were to see all this now, she'd have no doubt that you'd changed," Harry commented lamely, that being the only safe comment he could think of to start them off. He glanced over at the selection of ingredients again, then back at Draco briefly.
"You'd...you'd be dead if I weren't here." Yeah, way to go Harry. Blurt out the obvious right away without talking about the little stuff first. Harry wasn't the best at handling these things, and they needed to get this out of the way before they could move on to other things. He paused, a huge moment of silence, before Harry let out a tiny, barking laugh. "So much for you complete me."
