That as far as I'm aware stung, admittedly, though Neil did his damnedest to hide it. Nothing more or less than what he deserved, he reminded himself. "No, it's not," he agreed. He liked his parties quiet, subtle, where attention wasn't drawn and things never reached this level of rowdiness. "You got it right. I haven't changed that much." But, apparently, he had changed enough to make things different between them.
He found it a relief to be away from the kitchen, away from temptation, even if he'd never intended on succumbing in the first place. "Yeah, that's why. I saw that crazy redhead posting about this thing on the journals, and Liam was worried too, so here I am. She's made too much progress to slip now," he sighed. "You seen her yet? Because I haven't."
