Re: Kitchen
Thankfully, Louis had very little interest in the things in baggies on display. He brushed past them entirely after taking in the mountain of liquor that reached to the ceiling. What had Sam been thinking? Why was she doing this? If it was a scheme to get rid of the $5000 she had somehow ended up with, he could perhaps find a way to understand it. Still, though, there had been no need to attend, if that was the case.
He found Neil entirely by accident, still looking for Sam through the throngs of people dancing and drinking and trying to grab him and engage him, draw him into conversations and whatever substances were being passed around. Definitely not the kind of place Sam should be right now. And there was Neil, standing in front of a wall of alcohol, with several people trying to draw him in.
He grabbed his brother by the arm. "This is a bloody after-school special. Come with me." He began pulling him away from the kitchen and the pushers. Peer pressure. At Neil's age. Really.
