Jason attempted to summarily reject the thought that he could change his mind about this one day, but who was to say that wouldn't happen? One more dip in the pit and he would likely lose his grip on his sanity entirely, and no one could predict what would happen then. Not even him.
Jason slid his hands into the pocket of his jacket. "You will, huh?" there was a hint of a smirk there, but it was shallow, transparent. Jason had always wielded human as a blunt weapon, deflecting away deeper thoughts and inquiries into his own raw feelings. It meant a lot, though, that offer. It was reflected in his steady gaze, less manically intense than it had been a moment before. "Good luck."
After a moment spent standing there, Jason, started to move again. "Come on," he said. "Let's get the hell out of this forest, at least."
