Re: Into the Woods
Damian shook his head, he still couldn't trust himself. Even after seeing that. Jason would never be able to take down Damian in a fight as far as the little bird was concerned, but that didn't mean he couldn't stop him. Even if it came down to killing him so he couldn't take it all too far. He crossed his arms over his chest, head down and looking like the little kid that was stuck in a teenager's body. He used to think he had enough strength and intellect to make better decisions than the rest of the batfamily, but being an eighteen year old staring down some twisted dark fantasy of who he could be changed that.
"I know." He whispered, feeling the hot smokey air around him slowly evaporate into cold crispness. Damian needed to tell Selina. She'd probably lose faith in him, maybe even think he was weak, but if she couldn't understand what he saw that was her own problem. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Damian looked up to see the Gotham skyline vanish in favor of the forest they had wandered into. "Is it over?" He wanted to go home. He wanted to go on patrol and fight unseen demons by curbing the crime rate a little.
