Kara said nothing while Hel vented, nothing at all. And once her BFF was done, Kara gave her a calm look. Being totes calm was always a good thing with Hel. "Hel, I don't belong here. You have a family here. You have your boy toy. There's no fight here. You don't need me, and neither does this place. You were totes fine before I came along, but they aren't fine. I can help there. Okay, so maybe being calm had just flown out the window. But this had all been building up since she arrived, and it had to bubble over eventually. She'd never really dealt with losing home. She saw parademons under every bed for a reason - because she was still counting on finding them, on getting back there, on getting back home, to the only home she'd ever known, even if she'd only been there for a year.
